Lynn
Palumbo
is an artist and educator living in upstate New York. Working in mixed
media, she uses experimental formats informed by a background in painting,
printmaking, artists’ books and calligraphy. Current projects combine
the solar-sensitive photographic technique, cyanotype, with painting on
muslin. Exhibits include the Wright Gallery, Schenectady Museum, Berkshire
Museum and Dutchess Community College. Recent venues have been BAU Gallery
and Inquiring Mind Gallery in the Hudson Valley. She teaches art at Dutchess
Community College and taught previously at Manhattanville College. Areas
of instruction are drawing, design, mixed media painting and calligraphy.
She maintains a commission calligraphy business; clients include Penn
State University Press, Vassar College, Bard College, Manhattanville College
and Northern Dutchess Hospital. |
